Our take
The Palm House Hotel pairs an outdoor pool with a kitchen in every unit, which is a strong combination for families on a stay near El Palomar. The airport shuttle, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a smoke-free, pet-friendly policy add to it, while parking costs extra. A 9.4 rating from 47 reviews is excellent. I would book it for several nights and not for a minimal one-night stop.
