Our take
B&B HOTEL Rio Santos Dumont earns its 9.4 guest score from 972 reviews with solid basics: air-conditioned, smoke-free rooms, free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and accessible rooms. It also accepts pets. The catch is distance, since Santos Dumont Airport is about a 26-minute taxi ride away, so I would book a car in advance for a morning departure rather than count on a quick hop.
- Allow at least 30 minutes for a taxi ride to Santos Dumont Airport to account for traffic.
- If you're travelling with a pet, confirm the hotel's specific pet policy and any associated fees beforehand.
- Explore the nearby Av. Franklin Rooselvelt for local transport options to connect with the city.
