Pulkovo es la puerta internacional de San Petersburgo, a pocos minutos en taxi al sur del distrito de Moskovsky, junto a la avenida Pulkovskoye Shosse. Los alojamientos van desde torres de negocios Radisson hasta capsulas económicas y apartamentos con cocina, la mayoria a 15-25 minutos en taxi de la terminal.
Dormir cerca del aeropuerto Pulkovo significa elegir un punto en el corredor de Pulkovskoye Shosse, al sur del centro historico de San Petersburgo, donde el taxi hasta la terminal tarda entre 6 y casi 30 minutos según la zona elegida. Los alojamientos más cercanos se agrupan alrededor de Aeroport y Kupchino, muy cerca de la línea de metro Moskovskaya y del recinto ferial ExpoForum, mientras qué un segundo circulo más alejado ofrece tarifas más bajas a cambio de unos minutos extra de trayecto. Este corredor conviene a salidas al amanecer, escalas ajustadas y viajes de negocios ligados a ExpoForum más qué al turismo: el centro historico y el Ermitage quedan a un trayecto real en taxi más al norte, por lo qué la mayoria de los viajeros qué quieren ambas cosas reservan dos bases distintas.

- ✓Reserva en el circulo Aeroport o Kupchino si tu conexión dura menos de tres horas; el circulo exterior puede sumar 15 minutos más en cada trayecto.
- ✓Confirma qué el traslado es realmente gratuito antes de darlo por hecho: varios alojamientos vecinos cobran por el mismo trayecto qué otro ofrece gratis.
- ✓Pide un taxi en recepcion en vez de parar uno en Pulkovskoye Shosse de noche; hay coches con licencia en una parada marcada frente a la mayoria de los vestibulos.
- ✓Lleva la dirección del hotel en cirilico para el conductor: los nombres se transliteran de varias formas y la señalización cerca del aeropuerto es solo en cirilico.
- ✓El invierno, de diciembre a febrero, anade minutos reales a cada trayecto anunciado; sal antes de lo qué sugiere la duracion indicada.
