Our take
I recommend Sheraton Manila Hotel at Newport World Resorts for a comfortable five-star overnight near Manila's airport. The outdoor pool, spa and fitness centre are the highlights, while the business centre, laundry service and restaurant handle the practical needs of a work trip. It is smoke-free, kid-friendly and accessible, with parking on site. The surroundings are quieter than a city centre, so I would not choose it as a base for sightseeing in Manila.
- Consider using the business center if you have work to do, as it's well-equipped for productivity.
- Take advantage of the spa and fitness center to unwind and stay active during your stay.
- If you're traveling with family, explore the kid-friendly aspects of the hotel for a smoother trip.
