About this hotel
There's no restaurant or pool here, just a clean, air-conditioned room, free Wi-Fi and free parking, and a five-minute walk to Mother's house kitchen for meals. That stripped-down approach keeps the nightly rate near the bottom of this entire guide while still holding a review score above eight out of ten from nearly a hundred guests. For a traveller connecting through on a tight budget who needs nothing more than a bed and a working shower before the next leg, the trade-off makes sense. Anyone wanting a restaurant, pool or shuttle on site should look elsewhere in this guide instead, since IU keeps its offer deliberately narrow and its rate deliberately low.
- Free Wi-Fi
- Free parking
- Air conditioning
Our take
This suits travellers prioritising price above everything else, with review scores that hold up despite the bare-bones amenity list. Free parking is a genuine plus for anyone arriving by car. Guests wanting breakfast, a restaurant or a shuttle included should look toward Near Don Mueang Hotel or Don Muang Hotel instead, both offering more at a slightly higher rate.
- Walk to Mother's house kitchen for meals rather than expecting anything on site here
- Bring your own snacks for a very early departure, since there's no breakfast service
- Confirm parking space availability ahead of a late-night arrival by car
Why we love it
- One of the area's lowest nightly rates
- Free parking included
- Five minutes from Mother's house kitchen
- Strong review score for the price
Why guests love itIU Hotel Don Mueang Airport covers the essentials for a budget night near Don Mueang, with an 8.2/10 score from 98 guests. Free parking matters if you arrive by car with children, and the rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Mother's House Kitchen is a five-minute walk for dinner. No pool, restaurant or shuttle is listed, so I would book it for a single night and plan the airport taxi ahead.
