About this hotel
Premier Inn Luton (Airport) is the value option inside the terminal cluster, undercutting the international chains nearby while still keeping a grill restaurant and free Wi-Fi on site for every guest. Rooms are en suite and functional rather than styled, built for a fast turnaround rather than a long stay, which suits the six a.m. departures this whole location is built around handling smoothly. Family rooms extend the property beyond solo business travellers into a genuine option for a group, and the walk to check-in removes the taxi bill that a cheaper hotel further out in Stevenage or Welwyn Garden City would quietly add back on to the total cost of the stay.
- Airport-loop location
- Grill restaurant
- Family rooms
- Free Wi-Fi
Our take
I would choose Premier Inn Luton Airport when the aim is a short walk to check-in at Luton Airport and a room that can sleep the whole family. En suite, air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi and a grill restaurant cover the essentials. Breakfast and parking are paid, so I would check those before booking. It is a no-fuss budget chain hotel, and that is the right tool for an early flight.
- Book the family room specifically if travelling with children, standard rooms are not always convertible on arrival
- Eat at the grill restaurant for a late arrival rather than searching further afield after a delayed landing
- Confirm breakfast is included in your specific rate, as it is often charged separately from the room
Why we love it
- Airport-loop walking distance to check-in
- Grill restaurant on site for meals
- Family rooms available for groups
- Free Wi-Fi included throughout the hotel
