Our take
I would choose the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott when airport access matters more than anything else. The free shuttle to EWR does the heavy lifting, and the grill restaurant, bar and fitness center cover an overnight stay without leaving the property. Business facilities make it a good fit for work trips too. Do not expect a neighborhood to explore on foot.
- Confirm the airport shuttle schedule upon arrival to plan your transfers efficiently.
- Utilize the on-site grill restaurant and bar for convenient dining options without leaving the hotel.
- If you have an early flight, consider using the full-service laundry the evening before for fresh clothes.
