Our take
This hotel suits travelers looking for an affordable base in a lively area, especially those keen to experience Lapa's cultural scene. Its proximity to public transport and a relatively short taxi ride to Santos Dumont Airport makes it a practical choice for quick city breaks or overnight stays before a flight. However, if you prefer a quieter environment or direct airport access via shuttle, this might not be the best fit, as the hotel focuses on urban convenience rather than airport-specific amenities.
- Plan your airport transfer by taxi for a quicker journey, especially if you have an early flight.
- Use the nearby BRS bus stops to explore other parts of Rio de Janeiro easily.
- Walk to Nova Capela Restaurant & Bar for a convenient meal or drink in the evening.
